Just a Throw-it-Out-There Post

So I'm kind of playing around with Celtx.
And Talon's all not there at the momento.
And I'm about to leave to go pick up my work.

...Anywho.

I'm kind of attached to my Jessica-Given Pajama Game character name, so I was messing around with it (Ann-Marie, since I'm in the mood to be OHSO specific), and boom.
Suddenly ANA MARIE was my new lead, but with Talon...!

TALON!!!!

TALON?!

As it turns out, I'm back to the old habit of writing in non-cronological order. Seriously, it may happen that I write the next freaking Star Wars series or whatnot.

...Not that, you know, I'd MIND.

But this story took place seven months after the original plot idea (in fact, it almost seems like a THIRD BOOK, ejhfksjfhw) with a twist - Instead of being caught in a whole warp thing to another place, Ana had been sent home with Isa and Jeremy (Ha, ha, Anna), her two best friends, while Talon and his family had to stay behind because of some [yet unknown] circumstance.

And it turns out that she doesn't do the whole Traveling thing. Thank goodness.

BUT OF COURSE, I couldn't start in the beginning of the story. No, no, no. I started at the FUN part of the story, where Talon's coming back to her.

On her senior prom night.

But listen. As cliche as that sounds, how weird is this - She has VISIONS of him. Visions that she imagines all over the place and talks to, as they talk back. They don't have any connection to the ACTUAL Talon, so she still doesn't have a clue that he's coming back or anything, but it's kind of freaky and shows how desperate she's getting.

If only STUPID BELLA SWAN hadn't come along, maybe I wouldn't be having this problem.

Ha, ha.

Getting back on the subject, I had to make Vision of Talon a character, just because it wasn't the same as the actual Talon. Dumb, dumb, dumb. But movielicious.

Anywaaaaay, I'm guessing a little TINY part of it couldn't hurt. I'm about to mass murder it.

...No comment on the cheese-tastic.

ANA
I miss your voice... And... And I
just wish I could really hear you
say that one more time, when you’re
really here, not just in my head.

VISION OF TALON
(looks gloomy)
And you know that I do too.

Ana leaves the mirror and sits down on the toilet seat.
Vision of Talon is in front of her, kneeling.

ANA
(moans)
I don’t think I can do this.

VISION OF TALON
Ana...

ANA
(pauses and looks guilty)
You promised you’d be here.

VISION OF TALON
(disparingly)
I shouldn’t have. But Ana... You
promised me you’d live life for me,
remember? You promised you’d go,
and I promised you’d have fun.

ANA
(bitterly)
Like you’d know. You’re part of my
imagination. It's not like you're dead, either.
You could just as well be here, living life
with me, too. Having fun with me.

Of course, this would've all been prevented once again if I hadn't run into this dress:

So prettaaaayyy...

Seven-and-a-half Cents Doesn't Buy a Heck'uv-a-lot!

Dunananana.

I'm going up to the school tomorrow to pick up my work in the afternoon (and eat lunch with my mom), and I'm kind of nervous about seeing Mrs. Baugus. I'm expecting the "Oh, well you won't have a CLUE what you're doing!" talk, but whatever. She can't kick me out, dangit.

That's another thing. I think I need to replace the word "dangit". It sounds so hickish, and I don't want to cuss, but I can't think of a decent word to express my argh-ness towards things.

Um, no email yet.

OH, I'm kind of secretly in love with keeping my Talon story going, so I may try it. I hate being like this; skipping around and pretending I'm going to finish all of these ideas one day.

*stab*

Okay.
So my puppy is asleep on me = :)

She's so cute.

ALKSJDLAKSFJ.
I'M BEING RANDOM.
(Speaking of, though, that word gets annoying sometimes.)

Sick.
EWWWWWW.

I go back to school the day of the first performance.

172nd Post. Whoa.

I'm considering myself gipped.
And tired.
And in pain.
And on codine-loved pain pills.

MORGAN: EMAIL ME BACK. PLEASE. SOMETHING. I DON'T CARE.

JUST DON'T LEAVE ME HANGING AT TWO IN THE MORNING WHEN I'VE MADE MYSELF SOUND LIKE A CHEESEBALL.

lakjdrighhsfrl.

No word yet, ladies. No word yet.

But look at this, and as I go through, I'll explain as not to sound cheeseball-y again:

this is the "attractive" test. Reply through a message with your answers. Put an x in the boxes. Repost this with the subject "Attractive test" and send me your answers in a message

BE HONEST!!!

Would you kiss me?
[x] yes
[] no
(Because, uh, yeah. I would. No lying there.)

Am I?
[x] sexy as hell
[] fine
[] pretty
[] cute
[] okay
[] ugly!
(Because he's not "fine" or "pretty", though "sexy as hell" makes me laugh.)

Do you think im a virgin?
[x] yes
[] no
(Oh, Lord, I hope so.)

I look like..
[] a player
[] husby/wifey type
[] one time thing
[x] next bf/gf
(This quiz sucks, because what the flip ELSE am I supposed to put? I don't see the option of "the guy I'd date if I had the guts," do you?

If you saw me for the first time would you talk to me?
[x] Yes
[] No
(Because he's so sweet, everyone does.)

Would you rather..
[] hook up with me
[] cuddle with me
[] have sex with me
[x] date me
("Rape you like a drunken prostitute" would probably be the next option on there, or so it seems. They don't make these very reasonable.)

On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest), rate me..
[] 1
[] 2
[] 3
[] 4
[] 5
[] 6
[] 7
[] 8
[] 9
[x] 10
(Who said I was rating on looks? He's amazing.)

what would you want me to be to you?
[x] friend
[] sex buddy
[x] girl friend/boy friend
[] wifey/husby
(Riiiiight. Like anyone would put "sex buddy." Perverts.)

I just don't know. I'm confused and nervous and kind of proud I had the guts to send that back to him.
But now, he needs the guts to send me HIS.

So Okay.

I stayed home today --- I don't really know what's going on, but my knees hurt so incredibly bad that I can almost not move --- and went through my Flickr photos.

So we're having a classic photo post. From YEARS ago.

This would be me in 1999. I was SEVEN.

Tampons, Milk, Sleet, and Ex-Boyfriends with Voice Changes

[...Yeah. I think that's all.]

So a three minute off-the-computer break turned into a trip from hades.

The moral of the story I'm about to tell? NEVER GO ANYWHERE TO BUY POTENTIALLY DISTURBING THINGS WITH YOUR FATHER.

Okay.

So I go and pour a big bowl of frosted flakes for dinner, and realize there's no milk. Close to around this time, Mom says something about making sure we have tampons (dear LORD), and as it turns out, we have none... At a very crucial time, if you get the jist. (If you're a male, just... Go away.)
So Dad's like, "FINE. I'LL GO TO THE STORE."
And of course, I was recruited to go along, too, which isn't a big deal. Tampons don't scare me.

HOWEVER.

We went to GFF, where my friends work sometimes, and when I first walked in, I couldn't see any of them, so it was okay. We went and got all of the stuff and walk up to check out when the bag boy can't stop LOOKING AT ME and...

Well, it turns out it's my ONLY EX-BOYFRIEND: Nicholas Trolinger.

I then do what I do best and completely ignore him and the FORTY SUPER TAMPONS that he's holding.

And on the way out, he says, "Have a nice night," like the little donkeyface he is, and his voice is DEEP. :O

It scared me.

And now, if Daniel calls me and says something about Nick seeing me at GFF, I will provoke all hell on that boy.

[21:36] baby4dreamer: All those good drugs, gone to waste.. :'(
[21:36] baby4dreamer: and poor little reddy might never recover..
[21:36] darnedpencil: Like she would know. I bet her mother wasn't as caring as I was, and got addicted to everything and it's mother while I was pregnant, JUST FOR MY LITTLE GIRL.
[21:36] baby4dreamer: a friend stabbing her in the back like that...ITS JUST NOT RIGHT
[21:37] darnedpencil: Hear, hear.
[21:37] darnedpencil: Oh, the womb can be where they're most affected, that's what I always say.
[21:37] darnedpencil: Of course, I think the Heroin was a good lubricant for labor. Phew.
[21:37] baby4dreamer: You know what they say, a sober fetus leads to a sad sad life-us
[21:38] darnedpencil: (nice rhyme. LMAOOOO.)

Non-Alcoholic

Don't ask why the title. Instead, see two posts ago... The one that the previous one is a continuation of...

As if that's not confusing.

Anywho, I put up my linkage-ing. I have all of your sites (The regular blogs, at least. haha) and then a whole list of some that not TOO many people usually go to (ex. THIS ONE, UncommonGoods.com. Seriously, I love pretty much everything on there. If I had a million dollars...

You get the jist.

Anywho.

Tonight, we're thinking about going over to the Harkins and trying out for the B.C. Clark commercial.

And since anyone outside of Oklahoma has no clue what I'm talking about, let me explain:

B.C. Clark is a jeweler who's famous (at least here) for their Christmas jingle. I know it by heart, and ever year they have people sing it and then collage it into their commercial.

As for the song...

(Continuation of Last Post)

My BROTHER now has a Blogger account that he will SUPPOSEDLY be using.

Check it out and leave dirty comments. :)

(He's NOT a writer!)

May I present... The eleven-year-old freakfaced Michael Reynolds!

Sequelitis.

She grinned over her glass. “I really, really like this, you know. This atmosphere, being able to sit down and just drink with you.”
“Even if we’re both only permitted non-alcoholic beverages?”
“Even if we’re both only permitted non-alcoholic beverages.” She said, and blushed. “Sorry.”
“It’s not a big deal,” Hart said, and grinned at her mischeviously. “I would’ve liked to see you drunk though.”
“Not like you drink yourself.”
“No, not often.” He looked reasonably thoughtful for a moment. “Though I guess I’m more inclined as to what my company prefers.”

Watching him go through all of this pain; these memories – it was, to say the very least, slightly overwhelming. But then again, I’d asked, and he hadn’t denied me an answer.

“So tell me again, how did you find me?” she teased, looking at him in a way that suggested she was more than enjoying their reunion. “I thought I hid fairily decently.”
“You did, actually. It was just kind of by chance that I saw you on the subway.”
“I always wanted to see New York,” she said wistfully, and I could see Hart examining her hazy glaze.
“Yes, but this is the closest thing to it in my opinion. The hustle and the chaos with that kind of peacefulness that only can be found in the corners of big cities.”
They both paused for a moment in a comfortable reverie, sipping from the glasses.
“This is good,” she said at last, smiling over at Hart. “I’m glad you found me again.”
He nodded, smiling back easily. “I’m glad I found you too, Alesia. It’s been a long time.”
She chuckled and took a sip of her drink. “Remember when you and I first…”

The dream abruptly cut off, and I was suddenly back at the kitchen table, facing dark, brooding eyes the color of the scotch he was sipping.
“It was bad,” he admitted. “It was very bad, and for a long time.”

---------------------------

That's right, ladies and gentlemen. Along with the Writer's Block that seems to plague me every year, I've suddenly developed the urge to write a second book first --- AND THERE WASN'T GOING TO BE ANY FREAKING OTHER STORY.

lakdsjafiijfljkwjndfewkdk.

Brain -----> Leave of Absence.

UM. Kay. So. I've reinstalled Trillian, so it *should* be working right again, and I know now how to wipe and reinstate a computer. It's awesome and makes me feel super-righteously powerfu;.

I have to memorize a script for Friends by Monday. I'm the Numero Uno Pheobe. Rock on. :)

...BUT WHY DOES SHE TALK SO MUCH?

Anywho.

I think I may just randomly work around on this sequel thing. I'm NOT winning NaNo this year, trust me, but at least I can still write something. :P

Love, peace, and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Touched.

So I'm sitting here, aching over Europe.

Because guess freaking what?

...
A certain amazing teacher of mine has just nominated me (as I found out from my mail) to become a Student Leader, and to go to Washington D.C., Broadway, or across the oceans for a couple of weeks.

I want to go so bad.

(Okay, so actually, I would LOVE to go BACK to Europe with People to People, not this LeadAmerica place... But... I'd just love to GO.)

I Hate Everything

today.

I'm frustrated, annoyed, and tired of being yelled at by people in general.

I need time and a lot of hate music to get over it.

Unfortunately, my purgatory currently resides both on Markwell and on Toby Keith Ave. I can't escape.

Opening night is in two weeks.

There's no way in all that's righteous that I'm going to even be able to LOOK at NaNo.

Chris Kifer won't talk to me.

Morgan STILL isn't talking to me.

What did I do?

11.18.2007

Claus*, The Fish-Who-Serves-As-A-Reminder-To-How-Much-Exactly-Wal*Mart-SUCKS-BUTT.

So we went to Wal*Mart so I could get the sleep-in curlers I need for the musical, and while we're over there, Mom decides that we can go see the fish.

Eech.

The fish are in HORRIBLE condition. They threw a load of beta food to the betas, and their water is gross and they're in teeny containers.

So we took sympathy on the worst treated one, a gorgeous blue-eyed male.

The warranty is 90 days.

He lived a total of three FREAKING hours.

I'm SO mad.

* He didn't have a name because we weren't sure he'd make it for a couple of days, but since he's dead, and lived in an old Claussen Pickle jar for his meager happiest three hours of his little fishy life, I have secretly dubbed him Claus, and told Mom there's no way we're giving him back to Wal*Mart to throw away. I shall bury him - AFTER we get the #*(&$# refund.

11.17.2007

I'VE BEEN FIGHTING TO LET YOU GOOOOOO...

"SOME DAYS I MAKE IT THROUUUUUGH, AND THEN THERE'S NIIIIIGHTS THAT NEEEVVERRR END!"

Ah, Backstreet. I love you forever. And did you hear?! They're back to the Millenium dancing - it's AWESOME.

OU is losing, so I'm not exactly tryig to be in a fantastic mood. I mean, I don't love them as much as the Broncos, but they're still my babies -- Especially since Bradford looks like Chuck!

(Chuck --- 8/7c on NBC, I think)

I LOVE him.

(Crabtree, you will die.)

Anywho.

The other day, Jonas the Stoner made this banana bread with nuts, raisins (and I don't even LIKE raisins), and cinnamon sugar on top - OH MY GAAAWWSH. It's so AMAZING.

Jonas the Stoner Bakery, he said he was going to open if the whole Neurosurgeon thing doesn't work out... Which, him being a stoner, I will be scared if it actually does.

Um... Hmmm... Still hate Kristen Stewart for Bella... Still haven't gotten TO day four on my NaNoWC...

Yeah. Not much is new.

SCHOOL FROM MONDAY TO TUESDAY NEXT WEEK.
WOOOO.

TALK TO ME ON WED. AND THURS. :D

((((It's supposed to SNOW the day before/of Thanksgiving! IN OKLAHOMA! But really, Oklahomans trusting the weathermen? Don't think so.))))

11.16.2007

NOoOOOOoOoOoOOo!

KRISTEN STEWART?! FROM ZATHURA?!

STEPHENIE!!!!

(I saw it in second hour.)

ERAAAGGGHHHH, WOMAN!

I don't see Bella in her, and I KNOW I can't be Bella, so no quoting her statement but... I WANT A GOOD BELLA WHO LOOKS LIKE I PICTURE HER.

dangitall.

Kristen Stewart: *sigh*

"Solar Plexus, it's - Bigger than Texas!"

Part of a song that both Babe and Sid are horribibible at right now. Oy.
[Part of one of my FAVORITE songs.]

So anywho, NEW WR POST from a very talented girl, and they've announced the winners for the Stephenie Meyer contest thing (the prize, in case you didn't know, was a tape se of the books. Woo). Unfortunatey, I didn't win.

But nor did I enter.

Ahhh... CLIPPAGE! [But before that, I must explain: I forgot to download the latest copy of my original onto my USB, so I started writing a more fun part at school - This would be it. :)]

Waking up was like drinking electricity; every nerve in my body was suddenly on edge without knowing why.
“Good morning,” Musa’s voice rang out, causing me to jump.
“Oh, um, hi, ah, Musa.... Why are you here?”
I didn’t understand why she was in my designated room. There wasn’t a big issue or anything – it was just that it was kind of petrifying to wake up with another person in your room when all of you are in a completely different world.
“Arielle wants to see you, and this was my room in the first place, remember?”
Oh, right. But I still wasn’t understanding why Arielle needed me, other than to scream at me a little more. Not that it would really bother me – I was still partially stuck on the belief that this was all some whacked up kind of dream, and that August and Les were sitting at home, doing regular stuff.
I sighed. “And where can I find her?”
Musa smiled merrily. “Seeing as how I’m her assistant, I can help with that.”
To my utter amazement, she sat down on my bed and looked at me expectantly, eyeing my pajama’ed glory.
“What now?”
“You’ll have to change, you know.”
“Well, yeah, but I kind of do that alone…”
Musa laughed again, the sound of bells chiming in harmony. “Silly girl, you don’t even have a clue what to put on first, let alone what we wear on a daily basis! I’m here to help you!”
I blinked in confusion. “Yes, I do… I toured LeMia yesterday, remember? Plus, I can see what you’re wearing now, and it doesn’t look like anything too complicated.”
“That just goes to show what you know; I’m still in my sleeping clothes.”
She motioned down at her garb of a loose cream-colored silk shirt and what looked like dress pants, but were magical-looking; pretty and almost glamorous, with disgust. I stared at her in shock and awe.
“My clothes are prettier than that?”
For a minute, she looked offended until what I’d really meant sunk in. “Oh, Rowena!” She laughed. “Of course they are! Sleeping clothes are rather horrendous; I’m very sorry you had to see me like this, too, by the way. It’s out of protocol, but Arielle talked to me this morning and demanded that you meet her, so I had no other choice.”
I smiled. “This is too cool.”

OKAY.

So. It's not much, but what can you do when you've got 231987321 people staring at your screen?!

Ha, ha.

AND DEAR ANNA: Here's the basic rundown of Chris.
* He's sixteen.
* He's in band.
* He goes out of his way to give me a hug when he sees me (we have no classes together).
* I'm actually COMFORTABLE around him.
* He's not a bold-faced jerk/liar.
* He's cute, in the 'wait a sec, is he really cute or is that a trick of the light?' way.
* He's still no Morgan.
* I kind of like him loads. And I'd say like a brother, but we all know most of that is shot to heck in the first place. I love him like a brother, like him like Lauren.
* Let's see... I've known him for... Three years?

So I hope that makes you happy.

I thought you were going to have a HEART ATTACK when I told you earlier.

:)

Loving Les.

So from what I hear, Les is the favorite of the four (YEAH. FOUR.) characters out of eleven pages I've written so far. :)

Which isn't a bad thing, let me just say.

Haha. Thanks, guys.

“Les...?”
“Yeah?”
“Why do you think people don’t believe you?”
He laughed dryly. “You can answer that better than I can, Enna. You’re one of them, you know.”
I grimaced. “Well... Sorry. But you know how looney this whole thing sounds, right? You know that none of this parallels to anything in the world that we live in. You know that people won’t believe in things that aren’t right there.”
“Then what about God?”
It took me a minute to process where he was going with this whole thing. “What about God?”
“He’s real, isn’t he?”
Les’ words took me back to a time when I thought God lived behind the sky, making the stars dance just for me to see, and the sun shine so that I could go outside to play. It wasn’t that I didn’t believe now; I still did. It was just seeing how Les was treated, and how he talked sometimes... It was kind of hard to believe the same person made the stars shine.
“Yeah, Les. He is.” I said wearily. “But I still don’t see how something like LeMia can have any congruence to God.”
He sighed, and held out his hands. “You have to believe in something you can’t see, Enna. You have to understand that everything parallels to something; that my LeMia is just as real as God.”
“There’s no definable logic there, Les.” I pointed out.
“To you, no. To me, infinetly.”

I like him too.

That's right --- Only NINE days behind.
Luckily, I'm going to panic and write 3334 a night*, so I'll be caught up by the eighteenth.

*Maybe. Hopefully. Possibly.

AHHHH.

Ever heard of fangirling?

Well, just FYI, I'm completely mastering it.

Oh, yeah.

There's this show, called 'Firefly', that Joss Whedon made, and it lasted fourteen episodes. Well, willingly, I can say that's probably right there on my AHHLOVEYOU show list next to Chuck. Maybe even BEFORE Chuck.

And Buffy. OHHhhhh, Buffy.

...Which is a big deal.

Anywho, he's making this show called 'Dollhouse', that will air, unfortunately, after the Writer's Strike*, starring the the girl (with a large aslkdjaslfddh-ish name that's mentioned on the link) who played Faith in Buffy, and the plotline is amazing!

It's about this group of people... Well... Just go to the link. :D

I'm still sitting here wondering why he's never written a novel.

*How come I don't know about these things until they're already tre known!?

Meg Cabot

will save your life, I've firmly decided.

Sigh.

I'm okay. Just... stressing about stuff that's not even there.

Chasity's going to go out with Jeff G. (went to Euro with me - sweet guy), but I'm afraid she'll use him. When she got into *my* love life (LAME, Chas!), I kind of spilled that the guy I was even remotely interested happened to go to Westmoore.

And eventually, she guessed. And then began freaking out on me. NO LIE.

"OHMYLORD, LAUREN! I'M SO JEALOUS! I'VE LOVED HIM SINCE SEVENTH GRADE! I'D GO OUT WITH HIM IN A HEART BEAT! BLAHBLAHBLABITTYBLAH!!!!"

Okay, fine, so it was a little funny.
But also, I've learned that Morgan has this loyal group of people who would date him in a second... Which is disturbing, but flattering.

Unfortunately, she happened to ask me why I WASN'T dating him. alsjfhadlfjhrwofuhenksougfew.

So I told her the story, about my 'lie', and reminded her that not even on pain of death was she to tell anyone of this.

And now I'm sitting here shaking, and it's not cold. aslkdj. I don't know what's going on.

BUT IT'S FRIDAY! WOO!

Song Clip That Potentially Depresses People:

"Monday is a funny thing
Still waiting for the phone to ring
Will my imagination take it slow (oh yeah)
How decidedly my life has changed
In a moment it was rearranged
Strange how easy it is letting go.

And I miss your face

Like the sun was in my eyes
And now I'm running blind
And I can't explain
Last night I saw the fireworks
The kind of pain that never hurts
The one you hate to love is made for you
Another Unsuspecting Sunday Afternoon
..."

Oh, It's What You Do to Me...

I can think of a million words for hate.

...Not a single one comes to mind to put in my story file.

alsjkdalsghhkj.

Really bad day. Cried for a while.

Thank goodness for high school and stupid people.
